Getting take out can make the waste really stack up. Some restaurants are starting to provide options to cut out all of those disposable containers. Here are some businesses in our area:
1) Jane and Cem have a new pop up restaurant at Vicky’s Place in downtown Swarthmore. Along with their dine-in options, they also provide take out that you can bring home in your own containers. 2) Tiffin’s, an Indian restaurant with nine locations including Newtown Square, Bryn Mawr, Mt. Airy, and King of Prussia, was featured in the Food section of the April 27, 2021 Philadelphia Inquirer. Tiffin’s offers a reusable packaging purchase option when you order on-line only. During checkout, choose reusable containers on the “Delivery Options” page.
